Lift The Lid Walk
Our first Lift The Lid Walk was held in 2024. This national initiative is used to raise awareness on mental illness across Australia. It gives communities an opportunity to come together and Lift the Lid on Mental Illness.
Our walk starts in ANZAC Park, Ulverstone and is held annually in February. 100% of funds raised from Lift The Lid Walks go into supporting mental health research through Australian Rotary Health.
A beautiful sunny morning greeted some 160 young AusKickers, from along the North West Coast of Tasmania, participating at the Ulverstone Football Ground, some for their first AusKick Clinic. They were excited to discover who the Hawthorn Football Club would be sending along to conduct the clinic.
