The Rotary Club of Ulverstone West recently conducted a raffle to support the alleviation of homelessness in our local area. The raffle raised $2100 and the money was used to purchase sleeping bags for the homeless sleeping rough in Ulverstone, to support Loaves and Fishes which provides food for people in need and also to make a donation to Warrawee Women’s Shelter in Ulverstone.

Apart from the Rotary Club of Ulverstone West, the major donors of raffle prizes were Harris Scarfe Ulverstone, Railway IGA Supermarket, Leven Gourmet Meats and The Nut House. We thank the businesses for their support and interest in helping the wider community.
