Approximately 20 walkers were joined by Premier Jeremy Rockliff MP, Senator Anne Urquhart, P.A. Amanda Diprose, Dr. Shane Broad MP to parade down Reibey Street Ulverstone. The walkers held prominent banners and were cheered by the large crowd, calling “thank you for your great work”. The event was an ideal opportunity to:

· raise awareness for mental health

· focus attention on suicide prevention whilst promoting 24/7 helpline for counselling facilities.

· promote our two main events Expo and Beyond Blue “Gala Dinner”

· promote Lift The Lid on Mental Health Walk in 2023

The centre of attraction and the event anchor was Walters Contracting BIG BLUE TRUCK, a tribute to their son Isaac who lost his life in March 2017. The photos and text on the truck display Isaac’s story during his lifetime with further tribute to his sporting achievements.
