Brock McLean former Melbourne and Carlton champion was our marquee player for 2016. Brock played a roster game with Ulverstone Football Club in the traditional Anzac Day game against Penguin Football Club. Brock proved to be a great success in his first appearance on the North-West Coast.
Brock spoke of his experience with mental health, fairness, and equality and his life in football. He also told of his plans for life after football, at an evening function, attended by some 100 young players and guests.
The program has been so successful that the Smithton Football Club and Deloraine Football Clubs have replicated stage one of the plan into to their clubs and communities.
